Phil Duff co-founded SYSPRO in 1978, starting from a modest garage in Johannesburg, South Africa, with a vision to develop high-quality enterprise resource planning (ERP) solutions for manufacturing and distribution. Alongside his brother Chris, Duff laid the foundation for what would become one of the world’s leading privately owned ERP vendors. SYSPRO’s journey began with a pioneering contract to develop applications for the ICL System 10 platform, followed by products that consistently adapted to meet the evolving needs of businesses.
Today, SYSPRO boasts a customer base of over 16,000 organisations, serving more than 300,000 end-users across six continents.
