HIT Technology Represents at SYSPRO Channel Partner Conference 2025 in South Africa
10 September, 2025
Last week, HIT Technology’s Head of Business Development, Paul Hartshorn, travelled to South Africa to attend the SYSPRO Channel Partner Conference 2025 – one of the key annual gatherings for the global SYSPRO partner community.
For Paul, the trip came immediately after a proud local moment. On the Friday evening he was honoured to present the Leicestershire Charity of the Year Award at the Niche Business Awards in Leicester. Just hours later, he was on a flight to South Africa to join partners and colleagues from across the world for three intensive days of collaboration, knowledge sharing and celebration.
Stepping into the Future of ERP
The conference theme this year was “Step Into the Future”, reflecting SYSPRO’s focus on innovation and the ongoing evolution of ERP in manufacturing. Sessions explored bold ideas for the sector, with artificial intelligence (AI) a clear highlight on the agenda.
Paul reflected on the importance of this focus:
“It has been a packed couple of days hearing about everything happening in the SYSPRO world, and of course AI was a big part of the agenda. The future is looking very bright as we step into the next chapter of ERP innovation.”
The product roadmap showcased how SYSPRO is investing in advanced tools and capabilities to support manufacturing businesses worldwide. From AI-driven decision making to stronger partner tools, the sessions gave clear insight into how ERP will continue to be a catalyst for growth and efficiency across the industry.
The Power of Community
Beyond the technology, the Channel Partner Conference also underlined the strength of the global SYSPRO ecosystem. Partners came together from across EMEA and APAC to share experiences and explore new ways of working together.
Paul highlighted the value of this network:
“Opportunities like this only happen because of SYSPRO and the incredible community around it. I was proud to be there representing HIT Technology, the company I started nearly 20 years ago.”
Networking sessions created the chance to build lasting connections, exchange ideas and explore collaborations that will ultimately deliver value back to customers.
Celebrating Success Together
The social programme played an important role in building those connections. The conference began with visionary keynote sessions and closed the first day in style with the Channel Awards black-tie gala, recognising the achievements of partners around the world.
Day two brought a mix of partner tool workshops, product landscape sessions and team-building activities – before ending with a traditional South African braai at sunset, complete with food, music and plenty of conversation.
Fotini de Keizer, SYSPRO’s Global Director: Growth & Content Marketing, described the event as a celebration of “bold ideas, passionate partners and visionary leaders all driving SYSPRO forward.” That sense of momentum and shared purpose was echoed throughout the week.
Recognising the Ecosystem
The strength of the conference was also reflected in the range of sponsors who made it possible. Companies including TRAILD, Versori, Zap, TransLution and Cranswick Computing were recognised for their support. Each plays a role in helping SYSPRO customers enhance their ERP journey, from integration and automation to advanced warehouse management and beyond.
By bringing these ecosystem partners together alongside resellers like HIT Technology, the Channel Partner Conference demonstrated how collaboration across the SYSPRO community fuels innovation and delivers value to manufacturers worldwide.
Representing HIT Technology on the Global Stage
For HIT Technology, being represented at the conference in South Africa was about more than keeping pace with product updates. It was about ensuring that UK manufacturers benefit from the very latest thinking in ERP and that HIT remains closely connected to the global partner ecosystem.
Paul’s involvement ensures that HIT customers gain insights not only from the UK market but also from the experiences and innovations of SYSPRO partners worldwide. It strengthens the company’s ability to bring fresh thinking, proven best practices and cutting-edge technology into customer projects.
As SYSPRO itself put it during the conference: “The future isn’t something we wait for – it’s something we build together.”
Looking Ahead
With the event now concluded, Paul is heading back to the UK – returning to a busy week that even included his regular radio show and upcoming TV commitments. But the lessons, connections and energy of the SYSPRO Channel Partner Conference 2025 will continue to influence HIT Technology’s work in the months ahead.
As a SYSPRO Premium Solutions Partner, HIT Technology remains committed to helping manufacturers across the UK harness technology to scale their businesses, improve operations and prepare for the future.
By engaging in global events like this conference, HIT ensures that its customers remain at the forefront of ERP innovation, supported by a partner who is truly connected to the international SYSPRO community.
